I Hate Winter

Icy, Windy MilwaukeeWeather.com says Milwaukee is currently at 18°F, but feels Like 5°F. I was walking to class and the wind chill was dreadful. While I like a lot of things about Milwaukee, winter is not one of them.

    I don’t miss Milwaukee Winters. I don’t like Spring in Milwaukee either. It’s nothing but Winter in disguise.

    I do, however, miss the coffee shops, the libraries and the bus system. Public transportation here is a joke.

    Heidi,

    I totally agree that Wisconsin lacks a good springtime.

    I was at Rochambo last night, and I remembered your statement about missing Milwaukee’s coffee shops. Since I usually don’t go out much anymore, it felt really nice to be there. There were many years when I took it for granted, but that was when I would go all the time. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I guess.

    Perhaps you and Nick should open a nice coffee house in Knoxville. You could be pioneers of a whole scene…
